Conscious Club
We are Conscious Club! Since forming in 2016, we have played weddings and events all over the UK (and beyond) and are booking up two years in advance. We are a trusted supplier of all the top wedding venues in Devon and Cornwall because we love what we do. We think you will too! Let us get the party started!
Our Ethos
We strongly believe there is no substitute for live music on your wedding day. It really does add that extra special touch.
We pride ourselves on reading the vibe of the room. Every audience is different so we are used to thinking on our feet and sometimes changing the set last minute to keep the party moving in the right direction.
We want your guests to leave your wedding or party feeling like they've had the best night of their lives. We love nothing more than seeing a full dance floor and it's our mission to keep it that way until the taxis arrive!

Quite simply, Conscious Club made the evening celebration absolutely unforgettable. I have lost track of the number of our guests who commented on how superb the band were and asked who they were and where we had found them. They are total pros who ooze quality and craftsmanship and have the stage presence to get the wedding party going and maintain the excitement throughout the night. Meet Clare
Our dynamic frontwoman Clare brings passion and finesse to every performance. A celebrated songwriter and original artist, her music features on BBC Radio, Netflix and national television. She has graced stages alongside Newton Faulkner, Pixie Lott, and Joey Landreth, and performed at festivals including Boardmasters and the O2 Arena’s C2C. Bob Harris of Radio 2 described her intimate Bruce Springsteen cover as ‘one of my favourite Under the Apple Tree session performances.’
Beyond her artistry, Clare has a thorough and grounded understanding of the wedding day as a whole, making her a calming presence for couples and a dream collaborator for planners and suppliers. She balances her passion for music with an unwavering focus on creating a seamless and unforgettable day for every couple.

Meet Josh
Josh is the drummer and timekeeper of Conscious Club, bringing impeccable feel, precise playing, and a positive energy to every performance.
Known for his adaptability and attention to detail, he ensures every song hits the right note. Thanks to Josh, we’re able to adjust dynamics for venues with strict noise limits and help the band achieve excellent sound in challenging spaces. It’s for this reason that we’re often recommended for venues where sound restrictions have historically caused issues.
Outside of Conscious Club, Josh is a dedicated drum teacher across the South West, enjoying a fantastic reputation with students and colleagues alike. He has also performed with original acts in genres spanning country, reggae, and indie rock, and played at well-loved UK festivals including Boardmasters, Victorious, and Beautiful Days.
An amazing team player, Josh’s positive energy lifts everyone around him and ensures there are smiles all round.

Meet Ollie
Ollie brings his distinctive guitar sound and heartfelt vocals to Conscious Club, and is the other half of our dynamic duo.
From beautifully intimate acoustic pieces, to electrifying solos that fill the dance floor later in the evening, Ollie has earned his reputation as one of the finest guitarists in the South West.
Ollie has over 15 years’ experience as an original artist, having played internationally with Joss Stone, and shared line-ups with acts such as IDLES, Tom Meighan of Kasabian, and Mallory Knox.
Ollie is also a lovely, approachable presence on the day, who genuinely cares for our clients and everyone around him. His mix of warmth, attention, and artistry makes him a truly indispensable part of every celebration.

Meet Ozzie
Ozzie is our secret weapon on the keys, delivering world-class piano playing and nailing the iconic parts of the classic tracks in our repertoire. He is a graduate of Leeds Conservatoire, where he studied jazz— and brings a rich musicality to the band’s sound.
Calm, cool, and collected, Ozzie’s laid-back personality shines through in his spacious, elegant playing; while his instinct for reading the room gives the band those subtle nudges from the side which keep the energy high and the dancefloor full.
Alongside Conscious Club, Ozzie performs with a number of original projects, including Lack of Afro, with whom he has played some of the UK’s most iconic venues and recorded a live session for BBC Radio 6 Music. He has also performed at several major festivals in the UK and overseas.
With his helpful nature, practical approach, and genuine care for every couple, Ozzie is always ready to go the extra mile, making him an invaluable part of both our team and our couples’ special day.

Meet Chris
Chris is Conscious Club’s bass player and musical director, bringing understated energy to every performance.
He is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and music producer who has worked with Grammy-nominated musicians and earned award nominations for his production work in genres from jazz to rock. Over his 15+ year musical career, he has shared stages with bands including Catfish and the Bottlemen, Go West, and The Feeling and has performed at UK festivals including Boardmasters, Glastonbury, and Victorious. An in-demand session player, he has played with many artists, including The Hoosiers, for shows across the UK.
Offstage, he manages bookings and logistics, guiding our couples through the entire process to ensure every detail of their day runs smoothly. His calm, reassuring approach makes him a trusted point of contact for clients and his flexibility ensures that each couple’s vision is brought to life exactly as they imagine.
