FAQ

  • How do I book you?
Once you have decided that you'd like us to be a part of your big day, get in touch as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. We’ll provide you with a booking form, which allows you to give us the details of your day and also outlines our requirements for the day to run as smoothly as possible. We can iron out the finer details (first dance song choice, first set time) at a later date if need be, to avoid having to rush important decisions. Your booking is secure once we have received your completed booking form, along with a 20% non-refundable deposit. Due to high demand we are unable to hold dates before this stage.
  • Can I choose all the songs in your setlist?
Feel free to send through a list of your favourite songs from our repertoire. We will be happy to incorporate as many as we can into our performance. However, please bear in mind that we may not be able to play all of your requests, as we have to consider the dynamics, pacing and transitions between songs on the day and may need to make changes to the set during the performance to suit your guests. We also accept song requests from outside of our repertoire if there are any particular tracks that you’d love to hear us play. Requests will incur a charge to cover rehearsal time.
  • Will you bring all your own equipment?
We are fully self-contained with our own professional sound equipment and stage lighting. We simply require a minimum of 2 x UK Plug Sockets, located within the performance area. We will bring the rest! Let us know if you're expecting more than 250 guests, as we may need to hire in an external sound system, or additional crew to accommodate the needs of a larger event.
  • How much space will you need?
The evening band package requires a space of at least 6m x 4m in order to set up all of our instruments, sound equipment and lighting. A raised stage isn't necessary, but it's important the area is a level, hard surface, and that there’s no risk of excitable guests knocking over equipment and getting injured. If a raised stage is provided, it must meet the minimum requirement of 6m x 4m, to avoid the band having to set up on the dance floor. We understand that some venues may not be able to accommodate this. If you are unsure, we are always happy to have a conversation with your venue to discuss past arrangements for live music, and find a solution that works for everybody!
  • What time will you arrive?
We will arrive to unload our equipment, set it up and perform a short sound-check (which means playing through a couple of songs to check the volume is right for each instrument) before our first set. We cannot arrive earlier than 5pm unless this is specifically agreed upon booking. If you'd like us to set up any earlier, this will be charged at an additional hourly rate. Ideally the set-up would happen in an empty room, before your evening guests have arrived so that we're not carrying equipment past guests or disturbing the order of the day. However, we have had to set up around guests in the past and we will always do our best to cause as little disruption as possible.
